PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry to hire a driven Supply Chain Management Specialist for a 6-month full-time consulting assignment in Warner Robins. In this mission-critical role, you will support high-value Aircraft on Ground (AOG) and MICAP logistics operations for a major aerospace program. Your work will directly contribute to rapid response, transportation risk mitigation, and supply chain excellence—ensuring essential aircraft remain ready for operation.
As a Supply Chain Management Specialist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Managing high-value AOG and MICAP shipments for aerospace customers
Initiating, processing, and tracking urgent supply orders
Supporting transportation and logistics strategies to ensure rapid response and reliability
Monitoring service provider performance and ensuring adherence to contractual obligations
Mitigating transportation and logistics risks through proactive planning and coordination
Building strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and logistics partners
Supporting process improvements to enhance efficiency, speed, and accuracy
Coordinating after-action reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
Ensuring compliance with internal policies, procedures, and customer requirements
Working cross-functionally to deliver innovative and timely supply chain solutions
Location: Warner Robins, GA
Shift: Second Shift, 1:30 PM – 12:00 AM
Days: Wednesday to Saturday (Off Sunday, Monday, Tuesday)
Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week
Availability: Must be available for all shifts as needed
Pay Range starting at : $31.77 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time Consultant (6 Months)
3–5 years of supply chain, logistics, or transportation experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong understanding of supply chain operations and logistics processes
Ability to manage urgent and high-priority orders in a fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Proven ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Goal-focused, team-oriented mindset with strong leadership qualities
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Experience supporting aerospace or defense supply chain operations
Knowledge of AOG or MICAP processes
Experience with transportation risk mitigation and logistics performance management
Continuous improvement or process optimization experience
