As an Aircraft Painter, you will play a critical role in ensuring aircraft and components meet the highest standards for durability, safety, and performance. From surface preparation to advanced coating and finishing, your work will help ensure aircraft are mission-ready and visually exceptional. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where precision and attention to detail directly contribute to operational excellence.
Location: Tulsa, OK
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Must be able to work any assigned shift
Job Type: Full-Time Consultant | 4-Month Assignment
Pay Rate: $45–$48 per hour
In this role, you will:
Move and obtain parts, materials, and tools as needed to support production.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
Set up and operate processing and painting equipment for aircraft parts and assemblies.
Apply interior and exterior primers, protective coatings, and finish coats using spray, dip, roll, or brush techniques.
Mix, thin, and prepare paints and surfacing materials.
Operate and adjust ovens, furnaces, and heat-treating equipment for metal components.
Perform anodizing, electroplating, and chemical processing as required.
Program and operate robotic spray coating systems, including radar-absorptive material applications.
Conduct rework and touch-ups to meet strict quality standards.
Record manufacturing data and maintain accurate documentation.
Train and assist team members while maintaining certifications and qualifications.
Ensure a safe work environment and comply with company safety procedures.
Minimum of 5 years of aircraft painting experience.
Ability to read and interpret engineering and technical documentation.
Proficiency with paint spraying equipment and coating processes.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
Ability to stand for an entire 8-hour shift.
Flexibility to work any assigned shift, overtime, and weekends as needed.
Ability to successfully complete a painting demonstration upon start.
Experience with robotic spray coating systems.
Knowledge of chemical processing, anodizing, or plating.
Experience working in aerospace manufacturing or MRO environments.
Strong teamwork and mentoring skills.
