As a Structural Analysis Engineer, you will develop and validate structural solutions that ensure aircraft systems meet rigorous performance, safety, and certification standards. You will work across engineering teams to guide product design, support testing, and investigate in-service performance, contributing to the full lifecycle of aerospace products.

Schedule: Monday–Friday | First Shift (8:00 AM–4:30 PM)
Job Type: Full-Time Contract | 6 Months
Pay Rate Starting: $71.61 per hour
In this role, you will:
Develop, integrate, and document structural requirements to support system and product design.
Coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams to define the product’s operating environment.
Guide product design by verifying structural integrity using analytical methods, finite element modeling, and simulation tools.
Perform structural hand calculations and utilize advanced FEM tools to evaluate performance.
Develop test plans and configurations, support test execution, and analyze results.
Validate systems and components against requirements and specifications.
Document certification and test results to demonstrate compliance with customer and regulatory standards.
Support in-service products by investigating failures and recommending design improvements.
Contribute to lifecycle structural performance from concept through sustainment.
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Materials Engineering.
5+ years of related engineering experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience performing hand calculations and structural analysis.
Proficiency with CAD systems (NX/Teamcenter preferred).
Experience with FEM software such as PATRAN and NASTRAN.
Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Advanced degree in engineering or related technical field.
ABET-accredited engineering program.
Experience supporting certification and regulatory compliance.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Background supporting aircraft structural testing and validation.
