Summary:

Assemble, disassemble, and/or modify aerospace systems.

Change, remove, replace, or upgrade aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement approved modifications.

Oversee assembly, disassembly, and overhaul activities.

Configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.

Troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

Isolate mechanical and electrical faults and repair defective components.

Perform validation and verification testing of systems and components.

Document procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, modifications, inspections).

Inspect components and verify repairs to ensure flight worthiness requirements are met.

Support and/or oversee training activities as needed.

Work under general direction.

Requirements:

Secret clearance required

High School diploma or GED required.

Typically 4 or more years of related work experience required.

Equivalent combinations of education and experience acceptable (e.g., vocational school, Associate degree plus 2+ years of related experience, Bachelor s degree, etc.).

Applicable and appropriate educational and/or certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience required.

Eagerness to learn and develop technical expertise.

Minimum of 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience.

Ability to prioritize and complete required training and qualification requirements in a timely manner.

Strong troubleshooting skills in pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

High attention to detail to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
