Structural Design Engineer

Description:
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Structural Design Engineer for a contract opportunity in Fort Worth, TX.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
•Must have an active Secret Clearance
•Must have at least 3 years of experience with armament (1 or more of the following: external stores/fuel tanks, pylons, pods)
•Must have at least 5 years of recent experience with Structural design.
•Must have at least 5 years of experience with Catia V5.
•Must have at least 5 years of experience with Creation and/or modification of primary and secondary structural parts, assemblies, installations, and interface control models/documents.


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Creation and/or modification of primary and secondary structural parts, assemblies, installations, and interface control models/documents.
Contributing to developing, testing, and validating aircraft structural designs.
•Assisting in creating system requirements, trade studies, statements of work, and test plans.
Coordination with internal Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), with some interaction with external IPTs and suppliers.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
•5 years of experience with PDM is preferred.
