Pay Rate Starting at : $118.62 per hour
In this role, you will design and modernize software production environments that power critical aerospace systems. By leading DevSecOps transformation initiatives, you will help deliver secure, scalable, and innovative solutions that protect and connect people around the world. Your work will influence mission-critical programs and drive the future of aerospace software engineering.
Design, architect, develop, deploy, and operate modern DevSecOps software factory environments.
Lead cross-functional teams to prototype solutions and gain stakeholder alignment.
Conduct trade studies and evaluate alternatives to replace end-of-life tools.
Drive the productionization and rollout of next-generation peer review and development tools.
Define migration strategies and support adoption across multiple engineering teams.
Collaborate with Systems Engineering, Real-time & Embedded Software, Test Automation, and Agile teams.
Implement continuous integration, continuous deployment, and continuous cyber capabilities.
Establish performance metrics and best practices to enhance software delivery and security.
Support cloud-based and on-premise architectures for aerospace applications.
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 14+ years of software engineering experience, OR Master’s degree with 12+ years, OR Ph.D. with 9+ years of experience.
Strong background in Agile development lifecycle and modern software engineering practices.
Experience with peer review tools such as Atlassian Crucible.
Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (Java, JavaScript, C++, C#, Python, or Swift).
Experience with change management tools such as Jira, ClearQuest, or Asana.
Experience with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Bamboo.
Experience with configuration management systems such as Git, GitLab, Bitbucket, or Subversion.
Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams in complex technical environments.
Architect-level certifications in cloud technologies such as AWS, VMware, Azure, or Kubernetes.
Experience using AI to improve peer review and software quality.
Experience designing and implementing cloud-native solutions.
Active Secret DoD clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance.
Current Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
