Build Software That Keeps Critical Aerospace Systems Mission-Ready

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Senior Software Engineer – Developer to support advanced aerospace platform health and maintenance systems. In this role, you’ll develop and sustain software solutions that collect and analyze platform health data, automate maintenance recommendations, and improve mission readiness, safety, and lifecycle cost efficiency across complex aerospace systems.

This is a hands-on, high-impact opportunity to work on cloud-based, microservice-driven applications that directly support operational excellence in the aerospace sector.

What You’ll Do

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will lead technical efforts across the full software development lifecycle, including:

• Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining non-embedded software solutions

• Translating customer and system requirements into scalable software designs

• Developing cloud-based microservice applications within CI/CD pipelines

• Supporting Agile teams focused on platform health monitoring and maintenance analytics

• Creating and maintaining software architectures, algorithms, interfaces, and documentation

• Debugging complex issues and leading resolution efforts to ensure reliability and performance

• Researching and implementing emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks

• Leading software process improvements, performance metrics, and best practices

• Providing technical leadership, mentoring, and project coordination

• Supporting system integration, supplier management, and compliance to industry standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field

• 5+ years of C# development experience

• 5+ years working in an Agile development environment

• Experience designing and implementing new customer-facing features

• Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle

Preferred Qualifications

• 9+ years of C# development experience

• Web development experience, particularly with Vue

• Experience with cloud deployments and CI/CD pipelines

• Familiarity with Amazon Workspaces

• Advanced technical education or equivalent industry experience
