JOB TITLE: C 17 Systems Technician - DEFENSE
LOCATION: Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ
PAY RATE: $41.91/hour

Summary:
Assemble, disassemble, modify, and overhaul aerospace vehicle systems
Configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment
Troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate and repair faults
Perform validation and verification testing of systems and components
Inspect components and verify repairs meet flight worthiness requirements
Document procedures and processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (repairs, inspections, modifications, and test results)
Support and oversee training activities as required
Requirements:
Active Secret Clearance Required to Start
High School Diploma or GED required
Typically 4+ years of related work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., vocational school, Associate degree + 2 years, Bachelor s degree, etc.)
Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience required
Strong eagerness to learn and adapt
Minimum 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience
Ability to prioritize and complete required training and qualification requirements in alignment with contractual, regulatory, and operational standards
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Experience:
1+ year of C-17 aircraft experience
U.S. Air Force background preferred
Structural maintenance experience preferred
FAA A&P License preferred
