Schedule: Monday–Friday | 40 Hours per Week | Flexible Hours | Overtime as Needed | No Weekends
Pay Rate: $30.35 per hour
PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading aerospace organization to find a detail-driven Quality Technician who is passionate about excellence and continuous improvement. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring product integrity, optimizing manufacturing processes, and driving quality standards that directly impact safety and innovation in aerospace. As a Quality Technician, you will support quality initiatives across the manufacturing value stream while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve processes and prevent defects. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Managing non-conformance processes and ensuring timely resolution of quality issues.
Evaluating and visualizing quality performance metrics such as First Pass Yield (FPY).
Advising production teams on quality considerations when setting up or optimizing production lines.
Coordinating and facilitating resolution of production-related quality concerns.
Collaborating closely with Production, Purchasing, and Engineering to support product quality initiatives.
Driving continuous improvement efforts and coordinating quality-focused improvement projects.
Supporting strategic development of inspection procedures across the value stream.
Participating in development projects aimed at error prevention and process optimization.
Implementing and maintaining company-specific quality processes and standards.
Assisting the Quality Manager with ongoing evaluation and enhancement of the management system.
Diploma or University degree in Applied Sciences, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Master Technician or Graduate Engineer certification in a technical discipline is highly valued.
Experience or formal training in quality processes and methodologies.
Professional experience in manufacturing, particularly in a quality-focused role.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments in a fast-paced environment.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Experience within aerospace or other highly regulated manufacturing industries.
Familiarity with quality standards, inspection procedures, and continuous improvement tools.
Experience visualizing and interpreting production and quality metrics.
Knowledge of root cause analysis, process improvement, and defect prevention methods.
