Senior Supplier Quality Engineer

As a Sr. Supplier Quality Engineer, you will play a critical role in boosting quality, reliability, and problem solving across a dynamic supply chain environment. Working onsite in Clearwater, FL, and reporting directly to our Quality Manager, you’ll lead initiatives that shape the future of operational success.
In this role, you’ll take ownership of key quality initiatives and collaborate closely with cross?functional teams and suppliers to drive measurable improvement. Your day-to-day will include:
Leading supplier quality improvement initiatives to enhance performance and drive continuous improvement.
Conducting supplier audits to assess capabilities, identify risks, and implement improvement plans.
Driving root cause analysis and corrective actions to reduce defects and prevent recurrences.
Evaluating supplier capabilities and manufacturing processes including CCA, PWB, and avionics operations.
Monitoring and analyzing supplier quality metrics to guide decisions and escalate issues.
Providing technical guidance to suppliers to strengthen compliance and manufacturing quality.
Supporting a culture of excellence, inclusion, and team development while partnering with leadership to build strong, diverse teams.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (science, technology, engineering, or mathematics).
6+ years of experience in supplier quality engineering or a closely related field.
Strong knowledge of quality engineering practices and methodologies.
Experience conducting supplier audits and driving supplier performance improvement.
Ability to thoroughly read and interpret engineering drawings to disposition hardware.
Strong project management, negotiation, and influencing skills.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
Experience leading supplier development initiatives.
Six Sigma certification or familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem?solving capabilities.
Experience with CCA, PWB, or avionics manufacturing is a plus.
