Schedule: Monday–Friday | 1st Shift | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $39.60 per hour
PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a global leader in the aerospace industry to find a skilled Production Planner/Coordinator who thrives in fast-paced manufacturing environments. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring materials, resources, and schedules align to deliver high-quality aerospace products on time. Your planning expertise will directly support operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and the predictability of business performance within the Interiors organization.
As a key member of the Materials and Planning team, you will:
Manage production scheduling, monitoring critical timelines and delivery performance.
Plan, schedule, and maintain sales forecasts and production orders.
Develop and manage work orders from initiation through closure.
Perform “Can-Build” analysis to ensure resource readiness.
Evaluate pre-order entry requests for material and labor availability.
Monitor customer demand and create level-loaded Master Production Schedules (MPS).
Maintain and optimize inventory levels to improve service and inventory turns.
Lead cross-functional production meetings and communicate across all levels of the organization.
Develop weekly and monthly sales estimates for assigned product lines.
Manage Item Master planning parameters supporting replenishment strategies.
Proactively identify, prioritize, and track material shortages.
Support New Product Introduction (NPI), including planning bills of materials, prototype builds, and production readiness.
Drive continuous improvements to systems and processes using data and analytics.
Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience, OR an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience, OR 9+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
Strong analytical and planning capabilities.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Aerospace manufacturing or similar industry experience.
Background in production and/or material planning and forecasting.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Experience using formulas, pivot tables, and large data analysis.
Understanding of bills of materials and technical drawings.
Familiarity with Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
