Schedule: Monday–Friday | 2nd Shift | 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM or 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Pay Rate Starting at: $39.73 per hour
Work Environment: 100% Onsite
PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a global aerospace leader to find a passionate and experienced Employee Development Specialist. This is your opportunity to combine your technical electrical assembly expertise with your passion for training and mentoring. In this role, you will play a critical part in developing skilled talent that supports commercial and military aircraft programs, helping ensure operational excellence and long-term success.
As a key contributor to the Production System Training team, you will:
Deliver engaging, high-impact training using a variety of instructional methods and media.
Apply strong instructional techniques including preparation, delivery, assessment, and remediation.
Adapt training content and delivery methods to meet evolving business needs.
Identify performance gaps and recommend targeted learning solutions.
Clearly communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Assess learning requirements and schedule courses and instructors.
Coordinate and optimize training requests for new hires, recalls, and transfers.
Support curriculum development aligned with electrical assembly processes and operational goals.
Monitor learner progress, provide feedback, and motivate employees to achieve success.
Experience presenting and speaking to groups in a professional setting.
At least 1 year of experience using reporting tools.
3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience designing, developing, and/or delivering course content and instructional materials.
Experience teaching technical subjects in an adult learning environment.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including fabrication, installation, testing, and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with Electrical Systems Responsibility Center (ESRC) processes.
Knowledge of production and quality systems and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
Experience using Learning Management Systems such as My Learning.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize.
