Chipton-Ross is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a contract opportunity in Andover, MA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): •Interim Security Clearance •Experience in electronic packaging for military applications. •Experience with design and documentation of Circuit •Card Assemblies, Printed Circuit Boards and Cabling. Experience with CREO and Windchill •Knowledgeable of GD&T Familiar with Change Board processes and documentation control
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: •Mechanical Engineer to support the design, development and manufacture of complex microwave electronics subsystems at our campus in Andover, Massachusetts. •We incorporate the use of modern design tools in the relevant design disciplines of RF/microwave, analog/digital, and mechanical/thermal engineering. •Also on premises are state-of-the-art electronics manufacturing facilities, and ESS test capabilities. •This exciting role will offer the opportunity to work with our top industry leading multi-disciplined professionals.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): •BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering •Experience with electronics packaging for microwave electronics. •Experience with CREO, Windchill, Zuken. •Hands on experience with building and testing electronic assemblies. Knowledge of GD&T is preferred. Knowledge of materials and processes used in electronics is preferred.
REQUIRED EDUCATION: •Accredited AA Degree with 10 years experience or more
