Role Overview:
As a Sr. Test Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the testing of navigational, inertial measurement, and guidance units. You will monitor, read, and record test data, while learning to operate automated and manual test setups. You will gain hands-on experience with high-tech tools and systems, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other test equipment. Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
Monitor, read, and record test data for navigational, inertial measurement, and guidance units
Learn to start automated and manual test setups using established procedures
Handle, mount, and properly test electronic units during evaluation
Work with oscilloscopes, multimeters, calibrated hand tools, power decade boxes, and other test equipment
Follow safety practices including 5S, FOD, and ESD protocols
Read and follow work instructions and procedures to ensure accurate testing
Maintain compliance with test documentation requirements
Support test leads and test engineers during troubleshooting and root?cause activities
Ensure work quality while observing and identifying potential issues before they escalate
Minimum 2 years of electronics experience
Minimum 2 years of electronic test experience
Ability to work onsite during 3rd shift (10:30 PM – 7:30 AM) Monday - Friday.
Associate degree required (or at least 1–2 years of proven electronics experience in lieu of degree)
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs occasionally
Willingness to work under supervision while growing technical expertise
Ability to learn schematic reading and test processes
Experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and precision test instruments
Familiarity with test lab practices, including 5S, FOD, and ESD protocols
Experience reading procedures or standard operating documents
Strong attention to detail and solid documentation skills
Ability to follow structured test instructions and maintain accuracy in repetitive processes
