Job Title: Electrical Manufacturing Engineer
Job Type: Full-time Consultant (12 Months)
Location: Seattle, WA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, First Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
Pay Rate Starting at : $41.87 per hour
You will support test, evaluation, and wire shop operations for a leading aerospace organization. This role focuses on driving efficiency, safety, and quality while ensuring manufacturing processes meet design and program requirements.
As an Electrical Manufacturing Engineer, you will own and optimize the manufacturing build plan from concept through production readiness. Key responsibilities include:
Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines.
Develop and maintain program architecture and conceptual build designs.
Perform Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) and producibility analysis.
Create detailed manufacturing plans, work instructions, and assembly sequences.
Ensure compliance with design configuration, build plan, and process requirements.
Evaluate design and build concepts to ensure manufacturability and efficiency.
Resolve complex technical challenges impacting cost, schedule, and performance.
Implement Lean manufacturing principles and process improvement strategies.
Validate production readiness and ensure fabrication meets design and test requirements.
Collaborate with Supplier Management to support lab and test integration.
Develop best practices and document process improvements.
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or related discipline.
Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical manufacturing processes and assembly sequencing.
Experience working within aerospace manufacturing environments.
Familiarity with the Manufacturing System.
3+ years in production or manufacturing environments.
3+ years in a Manufacturing Engineering role.
Experience leading projects or cross-functional teams.
Background in space or military electronics.
Hands-on experience with manufacturing tools such as:
PDM
CAPP
CMES
MESci
EPARTs
GOLDesp
