About the Role

As an Electrical Engineer, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. You’ll apply technical expertise, analyze data, and support complex system designs while ensuring compliance with rigorous engineering standards. This is an onsite opportunity supporting high-impact programs at a state-of-the-art facility in Chandler, Arizona.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, First Shift (9/80)
Job Type: Full-Time Consultant (12 months)
Pay RateStarting at $44.79  per hour
Travel: Up to 10%

Key Responsibilities

• Apply industry and company electrical engineering standards to system design and evaluation.

• Prepare and present technical materials for requirements and design reviews.

• Perform qualification, acceptance, and characterization testing on complex systems.

• Conduct troubleshooting and analyze test data to identify trends, anomalies, and performance issues.

• Support trade studies, risk assessments, and uncertainty evaluations.

• Derive and decompose requirements from documentation, customer needs, and design reviews.

• Characterize off-nominal component behavior and recommend corrective actions.

• Perform peer reviews of engineering designs and analyses.

• Collaborate with integration, test, and design engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Maintain safety as the top priority in all aspects of the role.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 9 years of experience, or Master’s degree with 7 years of experience.

• Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.

• This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                  

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Secret Security Clearance or higher.

• Experience with missile systems and related standards.

• Background in electrical component or subsystem design, testing, or integration.

• Experience said releasing engineering documentation such as drawings, specifications, and test procedures.

• Root cause analysis and resolution of electronic system nonconformances.

• Experience mentoring and collaborating across diverse engineering teams.

• Proficiency using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, DMMs, and electronic loads.

• Experience with analytical tools such as MATLAB or Python for data analysis.
