Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1st Shift | 8 AM–5 PM EST
Pay: $57.61/hour

In this role, you’ll contribute directly to advanced turbine technology and high‑impact engineering solutions shaping the future of energy. As a Mechanical Design Engineer III, you’ll take ownership of high‑level design and analysis activities that directly influence product performance and reliability. Your day-to-day will include:
Executing 2D & 3D gas turbine rotor finite element analyses using ANSYS
Performing analytical post‑processing, including:
Low Cycle Fatigue (LCF) crack initiation & propagation
Fracture mechanics evaluations
Bolted joint behavior summaries
Strength and stress analyses
Pulling CAD models from PLM and working designs in Siemens NX
Documenting, summarizing, and presenting analytical results
Supporting Python-based automation of recurring engineering tasks
Conducting defect evaluations through advanced analysis
Presenting routine project status updates to engineering teams
Collaborating closely with peers across a highly technical team environment
Communicating effectively across cross-functional groups
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
6+ years of relevant engineering experience
Strong communication, documentation, and team collaboration skills
3D CAD Modeling
ANSYS Finite Element Analysis

Microsoft Office
Python automation experience
