Schedule: Monday–Friday | 2nd Shift
Pay: $20/hour + 10% Shift Differential
Job Type: Full-Time, Consultant (12 Months)
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading aerospace organization to hire motivated Electro-Mechanical Technicians who are ready to play a critical role in supporting advanced technologies that power flight, safety, and innovation. In this role, you will plan and perform a variety of mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly, testing, fabrication, and inspection operations to maintain workflow and product quality. Key responsibilities include:
Reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of materials
Assembling, fabricating, and testing electro-mechanical products in both standard and non-standard environments
Operating hand tools, electrical tools, cutters, measuring equipment, and light machinery
Performing quality inspections, identifying defects, and documenting findings
Reworking and repairing products according to engineering changes and specifications
Maintaining workstation inventory and ensuring materials are readily available
Following all safety standards, quality procedures, and company policies
Keeping a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Standing for up to 8 hours per shift and lifting up to 40 lbs as needed
You’ll work under close supervision, receiving detailed instructions while building foundational technical skills and gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
High school diploma or GED
2 years of relevant experience
Ability to follow detailed instructions and perform repetitive tasks with accuracy
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods
Previous soldering experience
Experience with solder cups, wire tinning, and cable or harness assembly
Familiarity with mechanical or electrical assembly processes
