PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading aerospace organization to hire a Test Reliability Engineer who will play a key role in ensuring aircraft components and systems meet the highest standards of performance and safety. This hands-on position offers the opportunity to work with advanced aerospace technologies while developing technical skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Location: Phoenix, AZ 85034
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 2nd Shift
Pay Rate: $20 per hour + 10% Shift Differential
Job Type: Full-Time Consultant | 12-Month Assignment
As a Test Reliability Engineer, you will support engineering development and qualification testing while ensuring quality and reliability across aircraft components and systems. Your daily responsibilities will include:
Planning, assembling, disassembling, and reworking aircraft components and systems
Performing functional testing based on established procedures and technical guidelines
Monitoring tests from start to completion while accurately recording and analyzing data
Evaluating results to confirm performance parameters and tolerance levels are achieved
Documenting acceptance or failure outcomes and maintaining detailed records
Operating hand tools, test equipment, and mechanical measuring devices
Loading and unloading electronic equipment into test beds safely and efficiently
Supporting production schedules and meeting internal and external customer deadlines
Using computer systems such as SAP to document work and track results
Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and quality programs
Ensuring compliance with safety, hazardous waste, and environmental standards
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve processes
Training team members and supporting technical knowledge transfer as needed
Assisting with audits and contributing to waste minimization and process optimization

High school diploma or GED
2 years of relevant experience
Ability to follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, diagrams, and testing procedures
Basic mechanical and technical aptitude
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work under supervision and meet deadlines in a production environment
Proficiency with basic computer systems and data entry
Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, electronics, or mechanical testing environments
Familiarity with quality systems and continuous improvement practices
Experience with test equipment, mechanical measuring tools, and troubleshooting
Knowledge of SAP or similar production and documentation systems
Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
Willingness to learn and grow technical skills
