PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading aerospace organization to hire a detail-oriented Electro-Mechanical Assembler who is ready to contribute to the production of high-quality aerospace components. In this hands-on role, you’ll support critical assembly and testing operations that help deliver safe, reliable, and cutting-edge products used around the world.
Location: Phoenix, AZ 85034
Schedule: Monday–Friday | First Shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Pay Rate: $20 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time Consultant | 12-Month Assignment
As an Electro-Mechanical Assembler, you will perform a variety of assembly, testing, and inspection operations to maintain efficient workflow and product quality. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Planning and performing mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly, fabrication, testing, and inspection tasks
Reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, diagrams, and specifications
Following bills of materials and written instructions to complete assemblies
Operating hand tools, electrical tools, cutters, measuring equipment, and light machinery
Maintaining inventory and organization at workstations
Conducting quality checks, identifying product defects, and documenting findings
Reworking or repairing assemblies according to engineering changes
Ensuring compliance with safety procedures and quality standards
Keeping work areas clean, organized, and safe
Supporting continuous workflow and meeting production deadlines
Developing job skills and learning company processes in a structured environment

High school diploma or GED
2 years of relevant experience
Ability to read and follow technical instructions and drawings
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours)
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Ability to work under supervision and follow established procedures
Previous soldering experience, including solder cups and wire tinning
Experience with cable and harness assembly
Familiarity with electro-mechanical or electronics manufacturing environments
Knowledge of basic inspection and quality standards
Strong teamwork and communication skills
