PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading aerospace organization to hire a Data Analytics Specialist who is passionate about data quality, governance, and advanced analytics. Schedule: Monday–Friday | First Shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Pay Rate: $76.35 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time Consultant | 12-Month Assignment

What You’ll Do

As a Data Analytics Specialist, you will support enterprise data governance and quality initiatives, ensuring accurate, reliable, and actionable data across SAP environments. Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and maintaining Tableau dashboards and visualizations that enable informed decision-making

• Developing KPI reports to monitor data quality, system performance, and business outcomes

• Performing comprehensive data profiling to assess consistency, completeness, and accuracy within SAP systems

• Identifying patterns, anomalies, and data gaps to enhance data integrity

• Developing and implementing data quality rules, validation checks, and remediation strategies

• Supporting data migration and integration efforts in preparation for SAP S/4HANA transformation

• Collaborating with SAP functional teams (MM, SD, FICO, and others) to resolve data challenges

• Utilizing Snowflake to model, analyze, and optimize enterprise data

• Ensuring adherence to data governance standards and best practices

• Documenting methodologies, processes, and data governance frameworks

• Supporting training initiatives and helping teams understand the value of data-driven insights

• Driving continuous improvement and automation within data management processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or related field and 2+ years of relevant experience; or advanced degree; or 6+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree

• Strong proficiency in Tableau, including dashboard design, calculated fields, and performance optimization

• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, SQL, data modeling, and performance tuning

• Strong knowledge of SAP environments (SAP ECC, SAP BW, SAP S/4HANA, or similar)

• Experience with data profiling, data quality, and governance tools such as SAP Data Services or Informatica

• Understanding of data migration, integration, and transformation processes

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) for data profiling and validation

• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA migrations

• Experience with scripting or automation tools

• Knowledge of additional visualization tools such as Power BI

• Familiarity with enterprise data governance frameworks and best practices
