Schedule: Monday–Friday (2nd Shift; must be flexible to support 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed)
Pay Rate Starting at : $66.01 per hour
PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading aerospace organization to hire a Test & Evaluation Engineer supporting advanced space systems. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in verifying hardware and software performance, ensuring reliability and safety for cutting-edge technologies that enable critical missions.
This is a hands-on, technical contributor position ideal for experienced engineers who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy solving complex problems.
As a key member of the engineering team, you will:
Support the development and verification of test methods for space systems and subsystems.
Execute detailed test procedures, including instrumentation and configuration definitions to minimize risk and ensure accuracy.
Design and implement test hardware, software, and systems to meet program requirements.
Configure specialized test equipment and troubleshoot anomalies in electronics, hardware, and software.
Analyze, process, and format test data to meet customer and program standards.
Review test results—including off-nominal data—for quality, accuracy, and fidelity.
Prepare, publish, and present technical test reports and findings.
Archive test data and documentation to maintain compliance and traceability.
Develop solutions to calibration system challenges within defined scope.
Work under general direction from test leads while contributing independent technical insight.
This role is 100% onsite and requires the ability to sit, stand, crouch, and work in tight production and laboratory environments.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.
7+ years of experience working with specialized test equipment and instrumentation using electrical engineering test methodologies.
7+ years of experience performing automated testing and troubleshooting electronics, hardware, and software systems.
Experience using C#-based software tools.
Ability to support variable shifts and maintain reliable attendance.
9+ years of experience in laboratory and/or production environments.
Extensive experience with test instrumentation and advanced test methods.
Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) with relevant engineering experience.
