Chipton-Ross is seeking a Wire Harness Technician for a contract opportunity in Owego, NY.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): •Must have hands on experience building Cable harnesses. •Must have the ability to obtain a clearance but not required to hold while on contract.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: •Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas. •Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems. •Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions. •Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format. •Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions. •Exclude technicians working in production or quality assurance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): •Prefer candidates who hold IPC 620 certification but willing to entertain those uncertified as well for the right fit.
REQUIRED EDUCATION: •Accredited High School Diploma or GED.
WORK HOURS: •Full-Time-4/10-1st Shift.
