As a DevSecOps Software Engineer, you will play a key role in developing secure, reliable, and automated software delivery pipelines for safety-critical aerospace systems. This position supports a cutting-edge initiative involving CI/CD, automation, and Artificial Intelligence tools. Multiple experience levels are available, and compensation is aligned with your background and expertise.

Schedule: Monday–Friday | First Shift (9:00 AM–5:00 PM) | 9x80 schedule
Pay Rate Starting at : $68.86 per hour, based on experience and level
Work Environment: Fully onsite
Overtime: Possible but not expected
In this dynamic role, you will:
Design, develop, and maintain secure and automated CI/CD pipelines for safety-critical software.
Create standardized, efficient processes, tools, and methodologies to streamline the software engineering lifecycle.
Implement best practices for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to improve software quality and performance.
Configure and manage test environments, including hardware, software, and network configurations.
Execute test scenarios and identify vulnerabilities, defects, and performance issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and reliable software delivery.
Integrate DevSecOps workflows with Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) testing environments.
Utilize AI tools to enhance automation, security, and software development efficiency.
Support software project management across multifunctional teams.
Monitor system performance using logging and monitoring tools to ensure reliability and security.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, or a related field with 3+ years of software engineering experience, or a Master’s degree with 1+ year of experience.
Experience working with version control systems such as Git, GitHub, or GitLab.
Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
Familiarity with automated testing frameworks such as PyTest, JUnit, or Selenium.
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work onsite in Cambridge, MA (no relocation offered).
Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging platforms such as Prometheus and ELK Stack.
Knowledge of artifact repositories such as Nexus or Artifactory.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Education or hands-on experience in modern CI/CD and DevSecOps methodologies.
Experience integrating AI tools into CI/CD and software engineering processes.
Ability to collaborate with HIL teams and avionics software development environments.
