Job Title: Software Engineer – Artificial Intelligence
Job Type: Full-time; Consultant (12 months)
Location: Cambridge
Schedule: Monday–Friday | First Shift (9:00 AM–5:00 PM)
Pay Rate: Starting at $66.47 per hour, with higher compensation available based on experience and level
Work Environment: Fully onsite
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week with 9x80 schedule model
Overtime: Possible but not expected
In this dynamic and forward-thinking role, you will:
Design, develop, document, and implement Artificial Intelligence algorithms and models using industry best practices.
Evaluate AI tools for code generation and application within avionics and safety-critical systems.
Collect, clean, preprocess, and analyze large datasets to ensure quality and reliability.
Identify patterns, trends, and insights to support intelligent automation and engineering solutions.
Test, debug, and document AI models and software systems.
Train, evaluate, and optimize model performance and capabilities.
Conduct safety risk management processes aligned with aerospace standards.
Deploy scalable and efficient AI models into production environments.
Monitor, validate, and improve AI models in real-world operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to gather requirements and refine solutions.
Research and apply emerging AI technologies, tools, and frameworks to drive innovation.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, or a related field with 3+ years of software engineering experience, or a Master’s degree with 1+ year of experience.
Proficiency in modern programming languages such as C, C++, or Python.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Ability to work onsite in Cambridge, MA (no relocation offered).
Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Experience or education in Artificial Intelligence and machine learning algorithms.
Familiarity with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
Knowledge of avionics or ADA software.
Experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate development and testing.
Strong collaboration skills and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
