Are you a sourcing or procurement professional with a passion for supplier research, FAR15 compliance, and driving strategic value for complex defense programs? We’re seeking a Procurement Specialist to support key government sourcing initiatives with a focus on compliant documentation, supplier evaluation, and subcontract support.

This role offers a blend of analytical sourcing work, supplier strategy development, and hands?on involvement in DoD procurement activities. You’ll play a critical part in building compliant proposal packages and aligning sourcing outcomes with program requirements.

About the Role

The Procurement Specialist will perform supplier market research, gather technical and historical documentation, evaluate supplier performance, and support FAR15?driven subcontracting efforts. You’ll partner with cross?functional teams to ensure compliant, well?supported procurements that deliver the best value.

After an initial 90?day onsite period, this role becomes eligible for a hybrid work schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct supplier market research and gather required solicitation documentation (drawings, scorecards, historical purchases, etc.)
  • Evaluate supplier capabilities and performance to identify the most suitable sources
  • Support and execute FAR15 subcontracts in accordance with FAR, DFARS, and program-specific requirements
  • Assist with price and terms & conditions negotiations
  • Manage relationships with key program suppliers
  • Develop supplier strategies that optimize value, delivery, and compliance
  • Work closely with cross?functional teams (pricing, programs, engineering, etc.) to drive completion of compliant procurement packages

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics & Compliance, Business, or Finance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Hands?on DoD procurement or subcontracting experience (FAR15 strongly preferred)
  • Strong understanding of the DoD Procurement Lifecycle
  • Familiarity with FAR and DFARS regulations
  • Negotiation experience involving pricing, T&Cs, and supplier readiness
  • Experience in defense, aerospace, or similarly regulated industries
  • Background supporting subcontracts (FFP, CP, CPIF, etc.)
  • Understanding of Truthful Cost or Pricing Data (TCPD)
  • Ability to evaluate and negotiate terms and conditions
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office, SAP, and other procurement tools

Pay Details: $37.04 per hour
