Summary:
Perform simple assembly operations on structural, mechanical, and electrical subassemblies using hand tools and manual operations.
Identify parts, tooling, and follow technical drawings and work instructions.
Inspect work quality and ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.
Prevent Foreign Object Debris (FOD) contamination during work.
Read and interpret technical work instructions, drawings, and specifications.
Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, ratchets, crimpers, torque tools, multimeters, and power screwdrivers.
Use a computer in a production environment (e.g., for digital work instructions or logging).
Wear protective clothing/equipment as required for specific tasks.
Adhere to high safety standards and compliance with regulatory procedures.
Carry or lift 10 35 lbs as needed.
Perform repetitive movements including bending, kneeling, reaching overhead, twisting, and walking.
Requirements:
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
High School Diploma or GED required
Technical training preferred
Lift 10 35 lbs safely.
Ability to complete and maintain required certifications.
Ability to read and interpret technical information.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Skills:
Hands-on experience with hand tools in production.
Soldering, crimping, and torqueing experience.
Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
