Electrical/Electronic Testing Engineer

As an Electrical/Electronic Testing Engineer, you will support the development, design, and execution of electrical system tests that validate performance and compliance. You will analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate across engineering teams to ensure systems meet stringent aerospace standards.
Your work will directly influence product safety, quality, and certification readiness.
Support development and verification of test methods
Develop detailed test procedures, instrumentation setups, and configuration definitions to minimize risk
Design test hardware, software, and systems to achieve performance requirements
Use analytical tools to verify electrical system designs
Troubleshoot electrical systems and interpret electrical diagrams
Implement solutions to calibration system issues of limited scope
Analyze, process, and format test data to meet customer requirements
Review both nominal and off-nominal test data for accuracy and quality
Prepare and publish comprehensive test reports
Present test results internally to stakeholders and engineering teams
Archive data and documentation for traceability
Train and mentor team members as needed
Work under general direction while demonstrating strong self-motivation
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or related technical discipline
1+ year of experience working with electrical and electronic technologies
1+ year of experience using computer-aided design and simulation tools
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively while also being self-directed
Bachelor’s degree and typically 5 or more years’ experience in an engineering classification
OR
Master’s degree with typically 3 or more years’ experience in an engineering classification
OR
PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification
3+ years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Degree in Electrical Engineering with a strong electrical/electronic focus
Experience with wire design
Experience using electrical design tools including WCAD and Zuken E3
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Experience interacting with customers to coordinate testing requirements and schedules
Experience with mechanical systems
