Job Type: Full-Time | Consultant (12-Month Assignment)
Location: Layton, UT
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 1st Shift | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Pay Rate Starting at : $22.53 per hour
As a Systems Assembler, you’ll perform production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and electrical systems using manual tools and established procedures.
Your responsibilities will include:
Performing simple production assembly operations on aerospace systems and components
Identifying correct parts, tooling, and materials for each task
Reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions
Using hand tools such as screwdrivers, ratchets, power screwdrivers, multi-meters, crimpers, and torque tools
Inspecting completed work to ensure quality standards and defect-free results
Checking for Foreign Object Debris (FOD) and maintaining a clean workspace
Using computers to access work instructions and record production activity
Wearing appropriate protective equipment based on assigned tasks
Adhering strictly to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance standards
Lifting and carrying materials weighing 10–35 pounds
Performing physical tasks such as standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, twisting, and handling tools
Regular and predictable attendance is required to support production timelines.
High school diploma or GED (technical training preferred)
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Ability to lift 10–35 pounds
Ability to complete and maintain required certifications
Ability to read and interpret technical information and instructions
Experience using hand tools
Experience with soldering, crimping, and torqueing
Ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings
Prior experience in manufacturing or production environments
