Position Details

  • Job Type: Full-Time | Consultant (12-Month Assignment)

  • Location: Layton, UT

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday | 1st Shift | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

  • Pay Rate Starting at : $22.53 per hour


What You’ll Do

As a Systems Assembler, you’ll perform production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and electrical systems using manual tools and established procedures.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing simple production assembly operations on aerospace systems and components

  • Identifying correct parts, tooling, and materials for each task

  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions

  • Using hand tools such as screwdrivers, ratchets, power screwdrivers, multi-meters, crimpers, and torque tools

  • Inspecting completed work to ensure quality standards and defect-free results

  • Checking for Foreign Object Debris (FOD) and maintaining a clean workspace

  • Using computers to access work instructions and record production activity

  • Wearing appropriate protective equipment based on assigned tasks

  • Adhering strictly to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance standards

  • Lifting and carrying materials weighing 10–35 pounds

  • Performing physical tasks such as standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, twisting, and handling tools

Regular and predictable attendance is required to support production timelines.


What You Bring

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED (technical training preferred)

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • Ability to lift 10–35 pounds

  • Ability to complete and maintain required certifications

  • Ability to read and interpret technical information and instructions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using hand tools

  • Experience with soldering, crimping, and torqueing

  • Ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings

  • Prior experience in manufacturing or production environments

Pay Details: $22.53 per hour
