PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry to hire an experienced Aviation Customer Support professional in Anchorage, Alaska. Job Title: Aviation Customer Support
Job Type: Full-Time | Consultant (12-Month Assignment)
Location: Anchorage, AK 99502
Schedule: Monday–Friday | First Shift (Flexible between 4:30 AM – 8:00 PM; occasional weekends and holidays required)
Pay Rate: $23.58 to $27.86 per hour
Typical Shifts May Include:
4:30 AM – 1:30 PM
5:00 AM – 2:00 PM
10:00 AM – 8:00 PM
As a Ticket Counter Agent, you will be the first point of contact for passengers, delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining strict operational and security standards.
Your responsibilities include:
Assisting passengers with ticketing, check-in, baggage handling, and flight inquiries
Preparing, printing, and distributing manifests and boarding passes
Verifying passenger identification in compliance with company and security requirements
Checking baggage for proper destination routing
Making public address announcements for arrivals and departures
Coordinating law enforcement travel authorizations when required
Maintaining confidentiality of passenger manifests and sensitive information
Communicating flight updates to crews, logistics personnel, airport staff, and North Slope Security offices
Managing delays due to weather or mechanical issues and keeping passengers informed
Submitting Incident and Safety Reports for operational deviations
Overseeing safe boarding and timely flight closures
Processing claims for lost, delayed, or damaged baggage
Maintaining a clean, professional ticket counter and office environment
Preparing reports and documentation related to ticket counter operations
Providing administrative support to supervisors and collaborating across teams
This role demands attention to detail, adaptability, and a calm, solutions-oriented approach in a constantly changing operational environment.
Legal authorization to work in the United States
Minimum 3 years of administrative experience involving direct public interaction
At least 3 years of customer service experience
Current or ability to obtain a state-issued Airport SIDA badge
Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
Ability to stand for extended periods
Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, holidays, occasional weekends, and overtime
5+ years of aviation ticket counter or passenger service experience
Familiarity with Sabre, Apollo, Fast Air, or similar check-in systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Understanding of airport passenger services and North Slope operations
Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
Strong accountability, planning, and execution skills
Active listening skills and ability to build collaborative relationships
