Chipton-Ross is seeking an NC Programmer for a contract opportunity in Orlando, FL.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): •Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience •Must have the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance • Ability to interpret drawings and specifications for development of quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for inspection of manufactured products (machined components and assemblies). • Knowledge of GD&T and its application in CMM programming • Completion of Zeiss Basic course required. Would also like candidate to have Zeiss Advanced and Curve/Free Form courses. • Knowledge of CMM programming software (e.g. Zeiss Calypso) • Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: • Develops and reviews quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured and procured parts. • Develops CMM process including designing fixtures, determining probes, and programming the machines. • Develops and implements new inspection processes and automation methods. • Utilizes lean initiatives to reduce waste and maintain continuous improvement. •Supports the senior CMM programmers to develop ultra-precision processes.
REQUIRED EDUCATION: Accredited High School Diploma oe GED.
WORK HOURS: •4/10-1st
ADDITIONAL: Candidate must have the ability to Obtain a secret clearance. Not needed to start.
