In this role, you’ll independently develop and manage integrated project plans that support high-impact technical and facility initiatives—ensuring programs stay aligned, on schedule, and financially sound.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time | Consultant (9-Month Assignment)

• Location: Berkley, MO

• Schedule: Monday–Friday | First Shift | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

• Pay Rate Starting at : $54.32 hour

What You’ll Do

As the primary project focal point, you will oversee the full lifecycle of complex technical and facility-related initiatives, ensuring alignment with program requirements and industry project management standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing, coordinating, integrating, and maintaining comprehensive project plans and schedules

• Receiving and validating technical requirements for execution readiness

• Identifying ambiguities or missing information and facilitating clarification with stakeholders

• Partnering with facility project management teams to develop Statements of Work (SOWs) aligned to technical timelines

• Managing execution of supporting projects from initiation through completion

• Tracking and reporting project financials, including EAC/ETC for capital and expense funding

• Providing financial projections and updates to funding managers

• Maintaining dashboards, reports, metrics, and change activity documentation

• Communicating schedule updates to scheduling teams and stakeholders

• Facilitating coordination meetings and ensuring milestone accountability

• Monitoring risks, dependencies, execution gaps, and recovery plans

• Maintaining traceability between technical requirements and facility deliverables

• Improving project management processes and implementing best practices

This role requires strong analytical thinking, disciplined execution, and the ability to operate effectively within a highly technical, multi-stakeholder environment.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of project management experience supporting technical or facility projects

• Demonstrated success managing complex, cross-functional initiatives

• Strong analytical and organizational skills

• Ability to synthesize technical information and translate it into actionable plans

• Exceptional listening skills with the ability to ask precise, clarifying questions

• Experience coordinating with engineering, facilities, or infrastructure teams

• Financial tracking experience (EAC/ETC, capital and expense funding)

• Strong facilitation and stakeholder communication skills

• Excellent time management and ability to work independently

• High attention to detail with strong follow-through

• Ability to take direction and execute without overstepping technical authority

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting technical capability stand-up or facility infrastructure projects

• Familiarity with Statement of Work (SOW) development processes

• Experience with Smartsheet, Jira, Microsoft Project, or similar tools

• Background in highly technical or regulated environments

• Formal project management education, PMP preparation, or PMP certification
