PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a respected leader in the aviation industry to hire an Aviation Customer Support professional in Anchorage, Alaska. Job Type: Full-Time | Consultant (12-Month Assignment)
Location: Anchorage, AK 99502
Schedule: Monday–Friday | First Shift (Occasional weekends as needed)
Pay Rate: $34.02 to $41.29 per hour
As part of the Flight and Passenger Operations Team, you will play a critical role in supporting a fleet of Q400 aircraft, Twin Otter, and CASA aircraft transporting workers and supplies across Alaska’s North Slope.
Your responsibilities will include:
Coordinating with travel planners to meet passenger travel needs
Utilizing the iLogistics passenger reservation system to manage bookings
Managing incoming calls and delivering exceptional customer service
Conducting flight following and providing weather and runway condition updates to pilots
Coordinating and distributing flight information to crews, ground support, maintenance teams, and North Slope personnel
Adapting to operational changes due to weather or mechanical issues
Supporting irregular operations such as aircraft diverts or maintenance delays
Preparing operational reports and documentation
Playing a key role in emergency response operations when required
This role demands precision, adaptability, and strong communication skills in a dynamic aviation environment.
3+ years of experience in an administrative or clerical role
3+ years of customer service experience
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Willingness and ability to work weekends, overtime, and holidays as needed
Experience with the iLogistics reservation system
Experience in aircraft flight following or FAA Dispatch license
Familiarity with North Slope operations and terminology
Ability to work effectively in a diverse cultural environment
Strong time management and prioritization skills
Ability to interpret and apply standard operating procedures
High integrity with the ability to maintain confidentiality
Typing speed of 50+ WPM
Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-visibility, constantly evolving environment with minimal supervision
