PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry to hire a detail-driven Cycle Counter in Lenexa, KS (66219). Your Impact

As a Cycle Counter, you will ensure inventory accuracy and accountability within a high-performance aerospace supply chain. Your attention to detail and commitment to precision will directly support production efficiency and operational excellence.

This is a full-time, 6-month consultant opportunity with potential for extension or conversion to a permanent role.
Pay: $19–$21 per hour
Schedule: Day shift, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM (4 days/week, 10-hour shifts)
Overtime may be available.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

• Perform accurate cycle counts of inventory items

• Verify item quantities and inspect condition

• Maintain accurate inventory records using barcodes and computerized inventory systems

• Process stock transactions within inventory systems

• Support order pulling and material movement as needed

• Ensure discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly

• Follow established inventory control procedures to maintain operational accuracy

Your work will directly impact material availability, order fulfillment, and overall operational performance.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required

  • In lieu of diploma, minimum of 4 years of relevant experience

• 2–3 years of direct cycle counting experience (required)

  • Note: Order picking experience alone is not sufficient; focus must include cycle counting

• Experience pulling orders

• Basic computer and data entry skills

• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations

• Ability to read and comprehend simple oral and written instructions

• Reliable transportation

• Reliable attendance

• Valid driver’s license

Physical Requirements

• Constant standing

• Frequent lifting up to 25 lbs

• Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with kitting and picking operations

• Familiarity with barcode systems and computerized inventory tracking

• Experience in manufacturing or aerospace warehouse environments
