Emergency Dispatch
PDS Tech Commercial, in partnership with a leading force in the aerospace industry, is seeking a highly skilled Emergency Dispatch Specialist to support a world class Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) in Mesa, AZ. This is your opportunity to play a critical role in safeguarding people, property, and mission?essential operations across the United States.
As an Emergency Dispatch Specialist, you will be at the center of a fast-paced, 24/7/365 operation that supports Security and Fire Operations, including Emergency Medical Services. Your work will directly enhance the safety, continuity, and resilience of a major aerospace organization. This position is full-time and operates on a rotating schedule with variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
In this role, you will serve as a vital communications lifeline, managing and coordinating responses during urgent and high-pressure situations. Your responsibilities will include:
Answering and entering emergency calls with precision and professionalism
Dispatching and monitoring multiple fire and security radio channels with moderate to high volume
Providing approved Prearrival Instructions based on established protocols
Making timely and accurate notifications as required
Working collaboratively within a strong team environment
Supporting training initiatives and helping refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Receiving in-house Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) training
Upholding excellent attendance and delivering empathetic, customer focused service
Handling high stress situations with composure and teamwork
Accurately documenting real?time information within Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) systems
Making critical decisions under pressure
1+ years of experience as an emergency dispatcher within an ECC/PSAP or in a related role in Security & Fire Protection or Emergency Medical Services
1+ years of experience multitasking in a crisis driven, team oriented environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience performing responsibilities similar to those described above
High school diploma/GED and at least 1 year of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work or military experience
