Job Type: Full-Time Consultant (7-Month Contract)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | First Shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Pay Rate: $16.21 – $20.15 per hour
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Customer Support Specialist to support a leading aviation organization in delivering critical spare parts and customer solutions. In this role, you’ll serve as a key link between customers, warehouse operations, sales, and quality teams—ensuring orders move efficiently, issues are resolved quickly, and customer relationships continue to grow.
Your work will directly impact operational reliability, customer satisfaction, and the timely delivery of aviation components.
As a Customer Support Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
Reviewing customer purchase orders to assess requirements and accuracy
Processing and maintaining customer orders, including order entry in Cardex (ERP) and portal management
Coordinating with warehouse teams, Sales, Quality, Accounting, and other stakeholders to resolve order issues
Prioritizing orders based on required ship dates and operational urgency
Researching and resolving order discrepancies within the ERP system
Monitoring open orders and expediting high-priority or complex requests
Ensuring on-time shipment for critical orders through proactive internal coordination
Resolving customer claims, supporting RMA processes, and assisting with Credit & Rebill activities
Supporting Accounts Receivable with cash collection efforts
Maintaining pipeline health by analyzing part usage and demand in collaboration with customers, planners, and sales teams
Creating and monitoring performance metrics
Performing additional duties as assigned
6+ years of related work experience
Experience in Program Management and/or Customer Support
Hands-on experience working with SAP
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), including report analysis
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Background check clearance required prior to start
Experience in aerospace hardware sales
Knowledge of the aerospace or aviation industry
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in numeric reasoning and basic mathematical analysis
