Remote | Full-Time Consultant (6-Month Contract)
Pay Rate: $54.06 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 1st Shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a detail-driven Customs Analyst to support a leading aerospace organization in navigating complex global trade requirements. In this fully remote role, you will play a critical part in ensuring compliance with free trade agreements, optimizing duty mitigation strategies, and supporting post-entry customs activities that directly impact operational efficiency and cost savings.
As a Customs Analyst, you will be trusted with high-visibility, high-impact responsibilities, including:
Extracting and analyzing bills of materials to assess free trade agreement (FTA) applicability
Applying USMCA rules to determine product qualification status
Following internal work instructions for FTA analysis and qualification
Coordinating with supply chain teams to solicit USMCA certificates from suppliers
Reviewing and validating supplier-provided USMCA certificates
Analyzing historical customs broker entry data to identify post-entry claim opportunities
Supporting post-entry filings, including FTA reconciliation, post-summary corrections, and duty drawback
Assisting with additional duty mitigation programs as needed
High School Diploma or GED required
1–2+ years of experience in data analysis, customs, or logistics (3+ years general customs experience strongly preferred)
Intermediate Excel skills
Strong analytical skills with the ability to apply customs requirements to data sets
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Prior customs experience (Canada customs experience is a plus)
Experience with free trade agreement analysis, including USMCA
Familiarity with SAP
Background supporting post-entry filings or duty mitigation programs
Fully remote role open to candidates in any U.S. time zone
