A client of Innova is immediately hiring for a Test & Evaluation Engineer 2-Test Instrumentation
Position type: Full-time, Contract
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Seattle, WA -Onsite
As a Test & Evaluation Engineer 2-Test Instrumentation, you will:
• Day to Day Responsibilities
• Assists in demonstrating the effectiveness of test methods.
• Develops simple test procedures, and instrumentation and configuration definition needed to perform the test and minimize risk.
• Designs component and sub-assembly level hardware or software and uses analytical tools to verify the design.
• Assists in coordinating the manufacture and assembly of test hardware.
• Identifies solutions to basic problems and supports the development of metrology processes, methods, and tools.
• Supports development of test debrief material and participates in evaluation of test performance data.
• Reviews test data for accuracy, quality and/or fidelity prior to delivery to customer.
• Prepares test reports for review and alerts senior engineers of off-nominal data.
• Works cross-functionally to support program/project plans and integrate with key stakeholders.
• What You Will Learn
• Standardized metrology processes, methods, and tools for aerospace testing.
• Evaluation of test performance data and technical design review presentations.
• Application of lessons learned to the improvement of safety-critical test procedures.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Required Skills & Qualifications
• B.S. Electrical Engineer, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 2 years electrical design experience.
• Knowledge with common drafting tools: MS Visio, Zuken.
• Knowledge of instrumentation sensors and data acquisition system.
• Preferred Skills:
• M.S. Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Familiar with LabVIEW and NI hardware.
• Understanding electromagnetic interference, wire installation, and wire design.
• Experience with PLC and close-loop control.
• Basic knowledge of hydraulics and system engineering.
• Ability to analyze measurement data.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $60-/hr to $65/hr
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
