2nd: 11:30a-8:00p
4th: 10:30p-7:00a
Training will be on 1st shift
PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading aerospace company to hire Assemblers in Wichita, Kansas. In this role, you’ll perform hands-on electronic and mechanical assembly, repair, and modification work that supports critical avionics systems used in modern aircraft.

As an Assembler, you’ll support modification, repair, and assembly operations in a fast-paced aerospace environment. Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
Performing repair and modification work on electronic equipment
Disassembling mechanical and electrical units and replacing or installing components, sub-assemblies, cabling, and wiring
Reassembling units using overhaul manuals, service bulletins, schematics, wiring diagrams, and work instructions
Soldering components to required workmanship standards
Assembling special avionics test panels and fixtures for service centers and customers
Performing drilling and minor mechanical operations per diagrams and coordinate layouts
Recording repair results and labor hours on service worksheets
Maintaining quality standards in accordance with
Participating in Lean activities and continuous improvement initiatives
Communicating issues and observations clearly with supervisors
Following all safety procedures and participating in facility safety programs
Must be able to solder
Experience performing electronic and mechanical assembly, repair, or modification work
Ability to disassemble and reassemble electrical and mechanical units
Ability to read and follow schematics, wiring diagrams, manuals, and work instructions
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Prior experience in aerospace, avionics, or electronics assembly
Familiarity with workmanship standards and regulated manufacturing environments
Experience with Lean or continuous improvement activities
Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills
