PDS Tech Commercial is hiring an Assembly Design Engineer for a direct-hire role with a global leader in aerosol valve manufacturing. Why This Role Matters 

As a Design Engineer – Assembly, you’ll be at the heart of manufacturing innovation—designing, developing, and supporting production assembly equipment that keeps world-class operations running efficiently. Your designs won’t sit on a shelf; they’ll be built, tested, refined, and used every day on the production floor across multiple facilities. 

What You’ll Do Day to Day 

• Create conceptual layouts for production assembly equipment 

• Develop detailed engineering drawings from machine concepts 

• Design pneumatic control systems for assembly equipment 

• Process engineering change orders for existing machinery 

• Assemble prototype production assembly equipment 

• Troubleshoot and debug production assembly equipment 

• Provide technical support to production departments and other facilities 

• Select and specify mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing success 

• Perform additional engineering responsibilities as assigned 

What We’re Looking For 

Required Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution 

• Preferred fields: Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills 

• Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment 

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience designing production or assembly equipment 

• Hands-on experience with pneumatic systems 

• Manufacturing or industrial equipment background
