Pay Rate: $40–$45 per hour

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a world-class aviation leader to hire skilled Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Technicians in Opa Locka, FL. In this role, your expertise directly supports the safety, reliability, and performance of premium corporate jet aircraft. Every inspection, repair, and installation you complete helps return aircraft to service safely and on schedule.

What You’ll Do

As an A&P Technician, you’ll be hands-on in a fast-paced, professional maintenance environment:

• Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, install, and maintain customer aircraft

• Perform and document all work in accordance with approved manuals and regulatory requirements

• Adhere to General Work Requirements in factory, shop, or hangar settings

• Comply with Environmental, Health, and Safety policies; actively participate in 5S activities

• Operate ground support equipment as required

• Perform mechanical and electrical removals and installations

• Support fuel/de-fuel operations, engine removal/installation, and component repairs

• Assist with maintenance at off-site locations and return aircraft to service

• May assist with service order creation using SAP or similar systems

• Perform additional duties as assigned to support maintenance operations

Required Qualifications

• Current FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate

• Minimum 2 years of aircraft maintenance experience or equivalent substantiated experience

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ownership of a basic set of hand tools with demonstrated inventory and control

• Ability to obtain Ground Support Equipment (GSE) qualifications

• Ability to work unscheduled overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed

• Ability to work outdoors in seasonal or inclement weather

• Ability to obtain a SIDA badge (if applicable)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on corporate or business jet aircraft

• Familiarity with SAP or other aircraft maintenance tracking systems
