Chipton-Ross is seeking a Microelectronics Technician 2 for a contract opportunity in Manhattan Beach, CA.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
• High School diploma
• Computer-literate
• Ability to use Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Outlook, and Word).

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Looking for a Microelectronics Technician 2 to support our molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) department. As a member of the MBE department, you'll work alongside material science engineers and equipment support engineers.
Responsibilities:
• Use characterization systems to analyze wafers for Engineering review.
• Operate MBE system(s).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
• Semiconductor Wafer handling
• Cleanroom experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Able to lift 30-40 pounds

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
High School Diploma/GED is required.
School must be accredited.

WORK HOURS:
9/80 schedule, First shift, 5:00AM to 2:30 PM
