Summary:
Apply manufacturing standards to new work instructions and production processes.
Develop and maintain tooling and production precedence networks to support scheduling decisions.
Create and maintain engineering and shop performance metrics.
Integrate modular tooling into production planning.
Analyze current and future business needs to develop forecast, acquisition, and resource utilization plans.
Develop and maintain complex factory system definitions for manufacturing planning.
Estimate labor hours for new or revised production and tooling work packages using labor standards and engineering drawings.
Monitor production performance and analyze variances.
Support development of integrated production and tooling master schedules (crew cycling, learning curves, shift analysis, tooling capacity).
Identify and implement process improvements to maximize equipment and personnel efficiency.
Analyze unplanned events and assess impacts to cost, schedule, resources, and delivery.
Develop and obtain approvals for plan modifications.
Participate in negotiations related to production and tooling schedules and scope of work.
Develop and maintain integrated shop operating plans to meet cost and schedule commitments.
Analyze data to support shop performance metrics and recommend corrective actions.
Requirements:
Ability to obtain a security clearance
6+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., Master s + 4 years, or 10+ years experience).
Experience in manufacturing planning, production planning, or tooling operations.
Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
Ability to develop schedules, labor estimates, and resource plans.
Experience working with engineering drawings, production documentation, and tooling plans.
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Eligible to obtain a security clearance.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
