Summary:

Perform repetitive and non-repetitive assembly operations on electronic/mechanical assemblies and subassemblies (modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, cables)

Work from diagrams, drawings, and blueprints to make layouts and assemble parts to quality specifications

Use hand/power tools, jigs, saws, and precision measuring instruments

Conduct continuity checks, functional tests, and quality inspections on work in process and completed assemblies

Disassemble, rework, modify, and reassemble prototype or experimental assemblies under simulated conditions

Complete data entry and documentation to facilitate assembly progression

Set up and operate manual and automated assembly machines and tools

Perform minor machine maintenance and basic preventative maintenance duties (e.g., filters, lubrication, light bulbs)

Move parts, assemblies, and materials within the work area using assigned equipment

Support workflow by coaching, training, and assisting other employees

Report and investigate errors or discrepancies in parts, assemblies, procedures, or tools

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

Drill, seal, insert fasteners, varnish, paint, countersink, sealer application

Assembly and sub-assembly of structures

Assembler/installer experience with mechanical/electronic systems

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
