Job Type: Full-Time Contract
Pay Rate: $25.66 per hour

Role Summary

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aviation industry to hire an Avionics Installer  in Savannah, GA. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for individuals looking to build a career in aviation electronics. In this role, you will support the installation and testing of avionics and electrical systems that are critical to aircraft performance, safety, and reliability.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with the installation, modification, and fabrication of wiring and electrical components

• Support removal and installation of avionics and electrical systems under moderate supervision

• Fabricate wire harnesses and perform installations, terminations, ring-outs, and functional tests

• Read and work from blueprints, worksheets, schematics, and engineering drawings

• Complete assigned tasks within established timeframes

• Maintain required logs and production records

• Use a multimeter to support testing and verification activities

• Follow all safety requirements, including FOD, tool control, and 5S programs

• Properly care for and maintain shop equipment and tools

• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED

• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams

• General computer skills and familiarity with common software applications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• General knowledge of regulatory requirements and customer specifications

• Ability to use a multimeter

• Willingness to work 2nd shift

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical Certificate in aircraft electrical assembly

• Six months of accredited schooling in aviation electronics

• General electrical experience

• Participation in a youth apprenticeship program sponsored by an aviation manufacturer
