Chipton-Ross is seeking a Test Technician for a contract opportunity in Chelmsford, MA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): Must have the ability to obtain a security clearance •Basic computer skills required, including ability to navigate digital systems for timekeeping, work instructions, and task confirmation. •Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. •Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. •Experience with electrical and/or micro-electronics preferred. •Knowledge of ESD procedures and test equipment. •Strong work ethics and a reputation for punctuality and reliability, with a desire to grow and learn in their role.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: •Perform electrical and RF testing on systems, sub-assemblies, and circuit boards using manual and automated test equipment. •Work from Process/Work Instructions and test plans to ensure products meet quality standards. •Use various measuring instruments and electronic test equipment to meet quality requirements. •Document accurate data records and results test databases, generate reports, and assist in improving test procedures. •Basic troubleshooting / retesting of electronic assemblies. •Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to improve throughput and continuous improvement.
REQUIRED EDUCATION: •Accredited High school diploma or GED required
WORK HOURS: •Full-Time •4/10 work schedule 1st Shift •6:00 AM - 4:30 PM Monday through Thursday, with possibility for Overtimee
