Description:
Selected candidates will provide numerical control, machining and programming technical expertise. They will create, verify and revise Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry and documentation that directs the operations for a complete spectrum of numerically controlled multi-axis machines required to manufacture aerospace components. The Ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative team environment and be comfortable handling a product line from Engineering concept, NC programming, troubleshooting and final execution on the shop floor.
Primary Responsibilities: · Provides numerical control, machining, and programming technical experience to the Auburn Fabrication Team · Plans, creates, verifies, and revises Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry, and documentation that directs the operations for a complete spectrum of numerically controlled machinery (primarily metals machining) Works under general direction
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience): - Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings - 12 + years work-related experience with a Bachelors degree OR 10+ years of work-related experience with a Masters Degree OR work-related experience with a PhD
12+ years work-related experience with a Bachelor's degree OR 10+ years of work-related experience with a Master's Degree OR work-related experience with a PhD. Degree(s) must be in a related field, such as Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering Technology.
