Material Handler
PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry to hire a dependable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support critical materials and repair center operations. In this role, you will ensure aircraft materials and parts are accurately received, tracked, and processed—helping maintain compliance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction across aerospace repair and logistics operations.

As a Material Handler, you will support daily materials and repair operations by:
Processing incoming goods and returns into Repair Center databases and ERP systems
Identifying, logging, and tracking items that cannot be inducted due to discrepancies such as paperwork issues, part numbers, serial numbers, or system errors
Communicating with internal and external customers regarding returns, repairs, and receiving issues
Maintaining delivery and receiving records for all products
Managing RAI activity, including logging AWBs and key dates
Providing daily reports on key metrics such as units in grief, units added, units cleared, and top customers
Partnering with customer service and order administration teams to minimize delays and clear discrepancies
Controlling and clearly identifying units in grief status
Filing, scanning, and maintaining documentation to support repair processing and closeout
Performing daily cleaning, organization, and general housekeeping of assigned work areas
Maintaining a safe work environment in compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements
Supporting additional logistics and materials tasks as assigned by leadership
High School Diploma, GED, or AA/AS degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
OR 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and manage time effectively
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office 365 tools (Outlook required)
Ability to communicate professionally with customers via email and phone
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Prior experience in materials handling, logistics, repair operations, or customer service
Experience collaborating with receiving, shipping, and customer service teams
Proficiency with Microsoft Teams and PowerPoint
Strong organizational skills and comfort working with ERP systems
