Summary:
Take initiative to identify and resolve daily operational constraints.
Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive issue resolution.
Conduct research to understand constraints, including parts availability and engineering details, to track, status, and resolve issues.
Review future schedules to proactively identify constraints; attend line-by-line review meetings to communicate status and mitigation plans.
Attend and/or lead Tier meetings as required.
Utilize the Ship Side Action Tracker (SAT) system to track and manage constraints.
Assist in the development and implementation of site processes and procedures.
Create and present project proposals to audiences ranging from senior leadership to mechanics.
Support mechanics with specifications and drawing (DWG) interpretation.
Assist the shop with procurement and/or modification of required tools.
Coach and support less experienced mechanics and team members to build knowledge and skills.
Foster a culture of speak, seek, and listen, demonstrating emotional intelligence and a strong customer-service mindset.
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree with 3+ years of related experience, Master s degree with 1+ year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
3+ years of experience in critical problem-solving, issue resolution, and procedure development.
3+ years of experience accessing aircraft data through computer systems and interpreting technical data.
3+ years of experience in aircraft manufacturing, maintenance, and/or modification.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint presentations and Excel data manipulation.
Frequent walking on flat surfaces.
Ability to climb stairs.
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Desired Skills:
Experience with GOLD and I-GOLD, Vipers, NCM (Non-Conformance Management), Ship Side Action Tracker, or similar systems.
Leadership experience.
Project management experience.
Previous Line Side Control Center experience.
Experience with depot-level or modification maintenance.
