JOB TITLE: Quality Control Inspection - DEFENSE
LOCATION: Chelmsford, MA
PAY RATE: $30/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Clearance: Active Secret clearance preferred; previously held clearance acceptable

Night Shift: Full-Time, Monday Thursday, 4:00 PM 2:30 AM

Shift Details: Contractor must train on 1st shift for 4 6 weeks before transitioning to night shift

Summary:

Perform inspections supporting all phases of assembly and manufacturing

Inspect subcontracted and purchased parts

Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation

Use basic measuring equipment and instruments to perform continuity checks

Apply workmanship acceptance criteria on the production floor

Identify, document, and report errors or discrepancies clearly and legibly

Maintain inspection-related paperwork and documentation

Follow proper procedures and safety precautions to prevent damage or injury

Maintain a clean and orderly work/inspection area

Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

Active Secret clearance preferred; previously held clearance acceptable

Interim clearance process begins at offer stage

High school diploma required; no degree required

Active J-STD-001 certification

Active IPC-A-610 certification

Ability to follow work instructions and interpret blueprints

Basic math and instrument reading skills

Computer literacy

Ability to identify discrepancies

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
